POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The purpose of this role has a primary focus of development, and secondary focus on execution of the TreeHouse Reliability & Maintenance Systems (RMS) objectives across all TreeHouse Plants to deliver:
    • Increased Equipment Uptime,
    • Increased OEE,
    • Increased Outputs/Hour,
    • Increase Equipment Efficiency
    • Reduce waste,
    • and Reduce Maintenance Cost across the equipment life cycle.
  • Develop RMS objectives and standards with implementation timeline and plans for TreeHouse Divisions and Plants.
  • Works closely with Division Senior Directors of Operation to provide RMS technical expertise, strategic guidance, and forward-looking plans for specific situations and/or plants.
  • This position has a primary role of developing National RMS objectives and programs.
  • The position helps Divisions and/or Plants identify and drive Reliability & Maintenance improvement projects, participating in, or leading root cause analysis teams, and improving and driving the RMS programs.
  • The position provides a high level of technical expertise and data driven analysis for helping plants develop RMS plans around equipment and/or processes.
  • This person will monitor, track, follow up, and escalate Division progress against the RMS Objectives Dashboard, RMS KPI Dashboard, and RMS Leading Indicators.
  • This includes researching and implementing Reliability & Maintenance methods, technologies, and training, to increase production and overall product quality through a robust Reliability and Maintenance program.
  • This position leads Community of Practices (CoP), Steering Teams, and Pilot Teams to develop TreeHouse RMS objectives and programs.
  • This position aligns RMS functions to support Operations, CI, and TMOS processes, goals, and objectives.
  • This position provides direction, coaches, and mentors their Engineering Manager - Reliability & Maintenance Systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish TreeHouse and Division RMS Goals and Objectives.
  • Lead training sessions at Division and Plants on Reliability, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement of Asset Life Cycle processes.
  • Provide input and direction to Corporate THS ERP/SAP team for improvements to Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that supports the RMS strategy.
  • Utilize defined best practices to drive and support operational excellence in areas such as: predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance, storeroom, lubrication, etc.
  • Identify/Assist operating plants that pose unique opportunities and develop Forward Looking RMS Plants to drive step level improvement in OEE, Equipment Reliability, Conversion and MUV cost.
  • Lead the process for Engineering to integrate equipment into plant RMS and CMMS systems and establish Plant RMS expectations for implementing.
  • Assist in development of a Treehouse RMS standard program.
  • Focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, employee engagement and delivering sustainable performance
  • Lead the Division specific RMS Plan review with the Senior Director of Operations, Plant Managers and Maintenance Leaders for opportunities to achieve business deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be an excellent change agent who is skilled in sequencing and communicating change.

  • Computer skills including SAP, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
    • Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Reliability, Supply Chain, or related

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 10 years of RMS experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Food and Beverage industry experience preferred.

Experience with Division & Multiple Plant responsibility.

Experience in Reliability & Maintenance Systems including but not limited to:

1) Predictive Maintenance;

  • Lubrication
  • Thermography
  • Airborne Ultrasound
  • Alignment
  • Motor Monitoring
  • Vibration

2) Preventive Maintenance & PM Optimization;

3) Planning Optimization;

4) Storeroom Optimization;

5) CMMS Optimization;

6) TPM, etc.

Continuous Improvement experience applied to equipment and line reliability and performance improvement.

DIRECT REPORTS: Engineering Manager - Reliability & Maintenance Systems

TRAVEL: Average 50% of the time.
