The Senior Manager of SC Solutions will play a critical role in advancing the capability and effectiveness of the total Winland Foods supply chain to meet the organization's growth and productivity targets. This person will be integral in the development and operation of the Project Management Office supporting the Winland Foods Supply Chain Network Operations. Success will require forging a partnership with Division Leadership, General Managers, and Sales to establish project and program methodologies that meet customer objectives, while creating value for all parties.

Roles and responsibilities:

By fulfilling the main mission of this role, you will contribute to Winland Foods' enterprise strategy by delivering value through commercial and operational excellence.

• Provide Project Management for approved Supply Chain projects

• Oversee the project management process to develop, on board new projects, plan resources and drive those projects to execution

• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, model and communicate common Enterprise Program Management processes

• Facilitate communications at the management level about issues, performance and recommendations

• Develop the project status reporting and milestones structure that tracks progress on overall projects using project management tools

• Apply lean manufacturing, warehousing & distribution process improvement strategies

• Actively participate in the annual forecasting and budgeting process

• Leverage technology (IT) to streamline operations

• Position location is flexible but preferred to be in Oak Brook, IL area.

• Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel approximately 30% to 50%

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Required - MBA preferred

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations or procurement leadership at a manufacturing company

• 3+ years of experience in CPG

• 3+ years leading program management organizations

• Experience in the analysis of strategic supply chain networks

• Experience in integrated logistics, manufacturing or a network design related field

• Solid understanding of best practices in project lifecycle methodology and project management office principles

• Experience supporting complex SKU structure and multi-plant environments preferred

• Exceptional understanding of supply chain impacts on an organization's "Order to Cash" pipeline

• Strong management and interpersonal skills; 3 years direct supervisory experience

• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to build teams and influence at all levels of the organization and can act as a mentor/coach and provide opportunities for team members to learn and grow personally and professionally

• Strong facilitation skills

• Experience translating business requests into discrete efforts requiring specific technical, functional, and/or operational evaluation

• Superior problem solving and decision-making skills

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong presentation skills

• Ability to craft clear and convincing presentation materials

• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint capabilities

• Ability to develop data-based storylines and business cases

• Strategic thinking and emotional intelligence

• Experience with Supply Chain Modeling software
