We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer (Dart/Flutter) to join our team in McLean, VA.As a Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for developing cross-platform mobile apps using the Flutter framework, ensuring performance, usability, and code quality.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree with 2 to 4 years actively developing Dart/Flutter application or 4 - 6 years of related work Flutter/Dart experience including system analysis, software design, Java/ Flutter development.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Experience developing mobile and browser-based applications
  • Experience with Flutter development frameworks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a Flutter Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications developed using Flutter.
  • Proficiency in Dart programming language and Flutter framework.
  • Understanding of mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Build sophisticated and highly scalable apps using Flutter.
  • Experience with third-party Flutter packages/libraries and APIs.
  • Support tracking and versioning of software in a Git repository.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies.
  • Understanding of unit testing and associated frameworks, e.g. Junit.
  • Ability to research, design, plan, and implement solutions for challenging problems.
  • Support critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and systems.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with peers in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience developing web-based applications and services using Java EE, JSP, JDBC, JavaScript, REST, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, React.js.
  • Experience with the following technologies: HTML, EXT-JS, AJAX, XML, jQuery.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of other development languages such as Java or Python
