We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer (Dart/Flutter) to join our team in McLean, VA.As a Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for developing cross-platform mobile apps using the Flutter framework, ensuring performance, usability, and code quality.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree with 2 to 4 years actively developing Dart/Flutter application or 4 - 6 years of related work Flutter/Dart experience including system analysis, software design, Java/ Flutter development.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience developing mobile and browser-based applications
- Experience with Flutter development frameworks
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Flutter Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications developed using Flutter.
- Proficiency in Dart programming language and Flutter framework.
- Understanding of mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Build sophisticated and highly scalable apps using Flutter.
- Experience with third-party Flutter packages/libraries and APIs.
- Support tracking and versioning of software in a Git repository.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies.
- Understanding of unit testing and associated frameworks, e.g. Junit.
- Ability to research, design, plan, and implement solutions for challenging problems.
- Support critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and systems.
- Ability to work well and collaborate with peers in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience developing web-based applications and services using Java EE, JSP, JDBC, JavaScript, REST, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, React.js.
- Experience with the following technologies: HTML, EXT-JS, AJAX, XML, jQuery.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of other development languages such as Java or Python
