Harmonia is currently looking for a smart and self-motivated Senior system Engineer who understands a wide range of technologies and can provide technology modernization leadership at a major agency.

The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports our nation's fundamental defense services. Employees work closely with the government to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in mission systems.

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed at client facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.
  • Support the Tenant and an excellent communicator who can make recommendations on various technology stacks and execute on the recommendations.
  • Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases.
  • Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required.
  • Ability to deliver O&M and system enhancement support.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with other interconnected systems.
  • Provide escalation support to system support personnel.
  • Develop and implement network security solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Document configurations and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in Windows system administration
  • At least four years of experience as a domain administrator
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Certifications

  • MCSE: Core Infrastructure
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
