Overview

At NV5, we value our team members and are seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer I for our downtown Raleigh office.

NV5 is a provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients, delivering solutions through six business verticals: Testing, Inspection & Consulting; Infrastructure; Utility Services; Environmental Health Sciences; Buildings & Program Management; and Geospatial Technology. While Raleigh area candidates are preferred, we also offer the flexibility of remote working.

Responsibilities

This individual will:

    Provide engineering support, gaining knowledge of various construction materials and systems
  • Collaborate on multiple projects with other engineers, ensuring quality control procedures are implemented
  • Be responsible for adhering to schedules and budgets for each project, demonstrating their attention to detail and team orientation
  • Strong communication skills are desired
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-4 years of structural experience
  • A BS or master's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a focus on structural engineering
  • An EI certification (passed the FE exam)
  • A working knowledge of Revit is a plus
