The Multimedia Design Manager role requires a dynamic individual proficient in graphic design, video production, animation, and content strategy who is passionate about multimedia production, digital media, and user experience design. This role focuses on developing engaging multimedia content across various digital platforms and improving user experience on internal and external websites. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, create, and optimize multimedia assets, producing videos, graphic design, developing interactive multimedia experiences, and producing high-quality audio content.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing communication team to develop content strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Generate and refine creative content ideas, producing and editing multimedia content for digital platforms.
  • Ensure that content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
  • Continuously assess and optimize content strategies based on performance metrics and industry trends.

Multimedia Production

  • Embody and express a passion for storytelling through multimedia via websites, social media, and presentations.
  • Develop visually appealing PowerPoint presentations, incorporating graphics, animations, and multimedia elements to enhance presentations and effectively communicate key messages.
  • Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and design presentation templates that align with brand guidelines and audience expectations.
  • Produce videos and animations to effectively convey messages and engage audiences.
  • Create interactive multimedia experiences, such as interactive infographics, quizzes, and presentations, to engage and educate audiences.

Graphic Design

  • Utilize Adobe CC to create visually appealing content.
  • Develop design assets such as social media posts, brochures, posters, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, and infographics.
  • Design custom graphics, illustrations, and infographics to support multimedia content and enhance storytelling.
  • Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Audio Production

  • Edit audio recordings for podcasts.
  • Remove imperfections and ensure seamless transitions for professional-grade results.
  • Utilize audio editing software proficiently.
  • Enhance the listening experience by adding sound effects, music, or other elements.
  • Craft edits to evoke emotions and reinforce messaging.
  • Transform raw audio into polished, immersive experiences.
  • Ensure engaging and captivating final products for audience consumption.

Front-End Website UX:

  • Collaborate with website development teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs for website enhancements.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to identify areas for improvement and implement UX best practices for the FCS intranet.
  • Implement SEO strategies and ensure website accessibility compliance.
  • Update the external website to enhance the user experience, particularly in the realm of front-end website design.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across the agency to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Collaboratively brainstorm ideas and strategies to tackle project challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Solicit feedback from various stakeholders to refine and enhance multimedia content.
  • Utilize collaborative platforms like Asana to streamline project management processes and enhance communication among team members.
  • Assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress within Asana to ensure efficient workflow management.
  • Encourage team members to actively engage with Asana by providing updates, sharing resources, and seeking assistance when needed.
  • Leverage Asana's features such as file sharing, commenting, and task dependencies to facilitate seamless collaboration on multimedia projects.
  • Regularly review project timelines and milestones in Asana to identify any potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the team.

Performance Analysis:

  • Work with marketing communications leadership to analyze multimedia content performance and optimize engagement and conversion rates using data-driven insights.

Future-focused

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital media production to enhance content strategies.
  • Regularly research and explore innovative approaches to multimedia content creation and distribution.
  • Attend industry conferences, webinars, and workshops to keep up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for leveraging new technologies or platforms to enhance content effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptation within the team to remain ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business or another related field is required.
  • Master's degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in digital marketing, video production, social media management, animation, front-end website development and online branding.
