Job Description

The psychology technician is responsible for administering and scoring psychological or neuropsychological tests. Work is conducted one on one with patients face to face or through a video meeting. This position works closely with clinicians, researchers, and co-workers to provide essential cognitive and psychological assessments to Missouri residents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests in Columbia and our satellite clinic.
  • Prepare a written and detailed summary of test results and of patient's behavior during testing.
  • Maintain electronic record of tests administered to patients.
  • Rescore tests administered by co-workers for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Shift

Monday - Friday
7:45am - 4:45pm

Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
  • Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and examinations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with patients during the administration of tests.
  • Ability to interpret standardized mental examination.
Preferred Qualifications

Some course work in clinical psychology preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Anticipated Hiring Range: $14.00 - $17.59
Grade: PAT 3A
