Come join our Compliance team as the Compliance Analyst and take your career to a level unattainable in a traditional bank environment! The Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting the Compliance BSA and Risk Department with the overall daily compliance needs of the bank.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular compliance assessments and quality control reviews to test and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Centrally track compliance-related policies and procedures and provide timely reviews.
  • Interpret existing and emerging regulations and makes procedural recommendations that bring improvement to operations, risk, and compliance functions.
  • Use internal and external resources to gain greater understanding of practices and processes and compliance implications.
  • Assist project managers with interdepartmental special projects relating to Bank's Compliance Program.
  • Provide support to the business units regarding development and implementation of new compliance policies, disclosures, and procedures as well as training programs.
  • Answer general compliance related questions presented to the department.
  • Administer the compliance training program.
  • Evaluate business units throughout the organization to understand workflows, processes, data collection, reporting needs, and other technical issues that support the compliance processes.
  • Assist during regulatory examinations and external audits.
  • Assist with compliance-related risk assessments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the reporting on the status of regulatory compliance activities to executive management and the Board of Directors, as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Specific Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination.
  • 4 - 7 years of regulatory compliance or audit in the financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge of federal regulations for financial institutions.
  • Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and analytically including strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, and
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities with limited direction.
  • Demonstrate interest in contributing to and working by Climate First Bank's Core Values.
  • Possess the initiative to obtain education related to sustainability practices.

Physical Demands:

  • Sustained standing and sitting.
  • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
  • Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
