Position Description
Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking a dedicated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enterprise Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our team. The TPM will work closely with the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) to manage the design and building of environments, application integrations, and support initiatives in the Algorithmic Warfare division. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working on projects at the forefront of AI and deep learning technologies and wants to make a transformative impact on the Department of Defense (DoD).
Tasks, duties, and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Algorithmic Warfare Collaboration: Support the implementation of CDAO's Algorithmic Warfare (AW) AI scaffolding project which is creating a process/structure for DoD teams to develop and test their own AI/ML models. Manage and support the development and maintenance of scalable and robust AI/ML systems that comply with government cybersecurity policies. Stay current with the latest AI/ML research and technologies and assess their potential application within government projects.
  • LLM Integration: Support various efforts in studying the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) by the DoD. Communicate complex AI/ML concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Solutions Design: Direct the gathering of user requirements and translating them into workable automated solutions.
  • Product Evaluation: Assess products and procedures for inclusion in AI Scaffolding and compliance with government requirements, standards, and information assurance.
  • Project Management: Lead all stages of a project's life cycle, including the creation and monitoring of schedules, requirements documentation, systems design and specifications, and project status reporting.
Basic Minimum Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials include:
  • US citizenship with an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance and a current access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) (TS/SCI) is required. Applicants who are not US Citizens and who do not have a current and active TS/SCI security clearance will not be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university and 8 years of related experience is required.
  • The AI Enterprise TPM will have an understanding of AI/ML along with a blend of acquisition experience and program/program analysis experience.
  • Experience in risk assessments and analysis of system implementation is required.
  • Experience managing the integrations and configuration of systems is required.
  • Knowledge of Cloud architecture, application and integration is highly desired.
  • Proven experience managing software development and/or development of artificial intelligence/machine learning capabilities is highly desired.
  • Experience in providing technical project management of complex, integrated systems with little or no oversight is required.
