Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Intel to support our growing Intelligence portfolio. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, source and recruit cleared candidates for prime and sub-contracts with several of BBAI's Intel customers. As a trusted member of the hiring team, you will drive success in the hiring process and represent BBAI, our work, culture and benefits to a competitive pool of candidates.

This would be a fully remote position (for candidates in Maryland), with access to an office in Columbia, MD, if work on-site/hybrid is preferred.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is familiar with this market and is passionate about the difference we make by supporting this community. This position requires experience successfully sourcing and recruiting candidates within the DoD/Intelligence Community for positions that require Full Scope Polygraphs.


What you will do

Perform full life-cycle Talent Acquisition duties, to include but not be limited to:

  • Partner and collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand their hiring needs, identify position requirements, and fill openings in a timely manner
  • Proactively recruit and source qualified candidates with government clearances for open positions via traditional (i.e. job boards) and non-traditional methods
  • Screen candidate resumes and conduct employment pre-screening interviews in a prompt and thorough manner
  • Assess candidates' fit for the company and current openings, providing recommendations to hiring managers for consideration either for active opportunities or pipeline needs that lead to recognition as a trusted advisor on the hiring team
  • Manage the interview flow with candidates and hiring managers, to include scheduling and managing the feedback process
  • Manage the flow of all applicants via company's applicant tracking system in compliance with OFCCP guidelines
  • Work with the Hiring Managers and HR team to prepare offer details, extend offers, and follow through with the candidate from acceptance to start
  • Assist with recruiting support for proposal staffing priorities
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for company's core capabilities
  • Seek new, creative methods for identifying and attracting talent
  • Provide input on staffing reports on a weekly basis, to maintain effective communication and alignment of open needs
  • Compile and communicate recruiting data and metrics as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all company hiring policies and practices
  • Represent BigBear.ai internally and externally, modeling the company's core values

What you need to have

  • BA/BS degree; experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of direct experience recruiting cleared candidates in the DOD/Intelligence community that require Full Scope Polygraphs
  • Understanding of US Government Security clearances (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, etc.) and a general awareness of the security process
  • Experience with the iCIMS ATS highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently (as well as collaborate with a team) and multi-task, prioritize and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and networking skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of candidates and management (including in various time zones)

  • General awareness of technical skill sets including software engineering, systems engineering and system administration
