THE JOB:

As a Cage Cashier Banker, you will be responsible for processing monetary transactions and exchange with guests.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.50

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Perform frontline entry level transactions, chip bank transactions, poker transactions, cage credit transactions and employee bank/window transactions

  • Perform functions in a marker, cash bank, main bank and Poker banks

  • Conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts

  • Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets; record all checks cashed in the specified computer system

  • Balance bank at end of shift

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or a GED

  • One-year prior cage cashiering experience

  • Ability to work various shifts, which includes weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience working in a similar resort setting

  • General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling

  • Ability to balance a bank without assistance (identifying errors when out of balance)

  • Demonstrate knowledge mastery of relationship between banks, especially main bank, and other banks and front service windows.

  • Working knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machine.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

  • Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
