How you'll make a difference?

The QC Technician I is responsible for performing inspections and testing at various stages of production of the product from raw materials, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to assure product quality and conformance to specifications and procedural requirements.

HOURS: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, M-F

What will the duties and responsibilities be?

The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties as tasks as needed and assigned.

  • Under supervision, performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw material, components, in-process, and final product based on documented specifications (i.e. drawing, procedure, work instructions, etc.).

  • Review donor records for compliance.

  • Documents QA inspection at receiving, in-process, and testing activities to assure conformance to specifications and procedural requirements.

  • Performs label inspections

  • Audits various manufacturing processes to assure compliance and product segregation.

  • Initiate's non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follows-up to final disposition of nonconforming materials

  • Transact parts and in-process audits in Oracle

  • Performs special projects as directed

What skills and qualifications will you need?

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • 0-1 years related experience

What skills and qualifications are preferred?

The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • ASQ Certifications such as but not limited to CQIT

  • Medical Device manufacturing experience

  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience

    The anticipated base hourly rate for this position for an employeewho is located in Californiais$21to$23per hour, plus bonus, based on performance, and benefits. The finalpayoffered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer and thispayscale may not reflect thepayscale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
