From your PASSION to ours

The Asst. Director Lactalis Retail Dairy (LRD) Private label will report to, and work closely with, the VP of Dairy to achieve the key LRD Private label objectives. This includes delivering the Private label budgeted volume, pro-forma Net Income, and effectively aligning the evolving capacity to Private label strategy. The focus of this position is to provide comprehensive leadership and management of this business.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:


  • Act as the first point of contact for all Private label related topics.
  • Provide accurate and reliable Private label volume and financial analysis and insight to the VP of Dairy
  • Provide consistent support and leadership to the LAG field sales team by utilizing performance trend data and maintaining strong cross functional relationships.
  • Work closely with all Lactalis American Group support functions to help maximize LRD Private label results.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customers' Private label (go to market strategy) GTMS and core category BID timing.
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of Lactalis, both LAG and International, with strong understanding of our global portfolio to leverage it for the gain of LRD Private label and LAG.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:


Education & Experience

  • Ideally incumbent will possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 8 + related experience in retail sales, planning, forecasting, or management control.
  • Experience in managing personnel, including brokers, who may be assigned to the Customer.
  • Experience within the perishable food manufacturing sector highly preferred


Skills & Specialized Knowledge

  • Must be very familiar with industry practices and personnel.
  • Needs to be familiar with sophisticated sales reporting systems.
  • Must have strong administrative skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with all major functions within the company.
  • Individual needs to be able to thoroughly understand and apply company strategies to the Customer(s) assigned.
  • Needs to possess strong oral and written communications skills including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be able to analyze and present statistical data and other information which supports the goals of the company and Customer(s) assigned.
