Position: Integration Analyst III

Location: Hybrid remote with 2-3 days per week in the Newark, DE office location

What you'll be working on...

  • Designing, building and configuring integrations as per the business process integration requirements to ensure seamless connections between systems.
  • Utilizing code based and low-code integration platforms to streamline complex data flows.
  • Accountability in implementing real-time, asynchronous, batch data integrations working with applications stakeholders for timely Project/Integration Delivery.
  • Providing expert knowledge on real-time API and how an integration can be leveraged to achieve the desired outcome, indicating potential scenarios to consider before implementing.
  • Establishing data quality standards and controls for integrated systems based on the Best Practices and latest industry standards.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting integration issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize the impact on business operations.
  • Collaborating with external partners, vendors, and third-party system providers to establish and maintain the integration connections.
  • Conducting regular assessments of integration processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to optimize data flow and system efficiency.
  • Providing proactive and appropriate communication (written and verbally) to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and identify opportunities for data synchronization, consolidation, and automation.
  • Willingness to learn and support other data integration technologies that are supported by the team at Chesapeake Utilities Corporation.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Integration expert.
  • Experience in any one or more of the integration platforms is required: SAP BTP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Informatica, SnapLogic and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Full-cycle implementation experience, with hands on experience in designing and building integrations.
  • Well hands-on experience with protocols like HTTPS, REST, SOAP, SFTP, JDBC, JMS, IDOC, ODATA etc.
  • Experience working in flat-files, JSON, XML based integrations.
  • Experience in designing interfaces with different types of applications (on-premise and cloud).
  • Experience in Java and Groovy scripts to enhance integration capabilities.
  • Experience in implementing real-time API, API Management and governance, API proxies, microservices & batch data integrations.
  • Experience in Integrations Monitoring, Application Admin activities.
  • Experience in integrations Design Best practices, Error Handling Mechanism and Architecture.
  • Experience in preparing the Technical Design documents and Unit test cases.
  • Proven experience as a member of an application development or production support team with knowledge of common SDLC models.
  • Certification in any of the Middleware Technologies is preferred.
