Seeking a Site Events and Meeting Manager to join the Hospitality and Site Services team at Roche. You will be responsible for the overall strategy, planning, and communication for onsite meetings and events. In addition, you will collaborate with colleagues across the organization and with vendors, internally and externally, to successfully plan, manage and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings, conferences, galas, site events, and other event types as needed. This position will lead a small team who is responsible for the meeting and event setups, as well as a support role.


The Opportunity:

  • Serve as lead and point of contact on the planning, management, and execution of onsite campus meetings and events.

  • Provides leadership and strategic direction for site events team.

  • Provide in-person logistical support for stakeholders and vendors.

  • Own the onsite meeting and event processes.

  • Build relationships and provide excellent customer service.

  • Manage all budgets and timelines.

  • Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts.

  • Research, implement and utilize technology. Lead change management and training activities.

  • Assist with the production of internal and external communications regarding meetings and events.

  • Lead and participate in other duties as assigned to fully support the efforts and goals of the Hospitality and Site Services Team.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree or other advanced degree

  • Previous leadership, and corporate meeting and event planning experiences are a MUST

  • Must have strong communication skills; an ideal candidate will possess a strong professional presence, interpersonal communication, attention to detail, organization, time management, problem-solving, conflict management, and decision making skills.

  • Proficiency with Google, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; comfortable with technology and technology changes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to lead, direct, and influence colleagues and stakeholders

  • The ideal candidate will be a team-player and highly responsive. This candidate should have the demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, deal with ambiguity, lead others, and work as part of a cohesive team.

  • Self-motivated while working in a team environment to drive forward numerous deadline-driven events and develop stakeholder relationships.

This is an onsite role (Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm). Days and times may vary depending on meeting and event needs.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $80,600.00 - $149,600.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
