Job Description

Exciting opportunity within the Registrar's Office to work with faculty, staff and students in areas critical to the university. The candidate should have great communication skills and enjoy problem solving. We are seeking candidates with a flair for technical software and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Committee secretary who will be responsible for setting the agenda and taking minutes for the meetings
  • This person will work with our curriculum software and provide training to the departments as needed; will be responsible for troubleshooting the software and ensure that all policies are followed according to curriculum guidelines; and will be expected to know the university academic policy to help guide the Curriculum Committee in their decisions
  • Responsible for academic and ad-hoc room reservations on campus. This will require the ability to use the room reservation software
  • The successful candidate will be expected to ensure all reservations adhere to the campus scheduling policy to ensure maximum scheduling efficiency
  • Responsible for generating, editing and vetting the information listed in the Commencement program. This duty is a twice a year job with great impact to the campus community
  • Attend several meetings as the representative of the Registrar's Office
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.61 to $25.57 hourly.


Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
