Med-Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24002968)

The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PACCSM) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Associate.

Applicants must be a resident within the departments of Medicine, Pathology, Pediatrics, or Surgery with an interest in heart, lung, blood, or sleep research. The project may involve animal experimentation, human tissue research, or clinical studies. Suitable candidates are required to have demonstrated research productivity and the ability to work with colleagues in collaborative interactions. Prior research expertise is highly desired, but not required. Successful applicants will hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD in Public Health/Medicine. Strong written and verbal skills in English are essential.

Participation in weekly meetings with the PI and study team. The candidate will work on this research project and any other assignments that the PI may request. Our lab is committed to the career development of our lab members, and in training basic and translational scientists.
