PURPOSE

Performs assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stage windows on pallets as completed, apply all labels to windows accordingly

• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets skids, or lifting device by hand.

• May occasionally move lighter materials by hand

• Works at different work stations as production needs require.

• Removes defective products as needed

• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.

• Able to work overtime with minimal notice as business needs requires.

• Other duties as assigned.
  Ability to lift 50+lbs

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another qualified person.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and glass.

• Frequently exposed to extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration.

• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.

• Routinely exposed to hazardous noise levels.
