Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

The Health and Safety Manager will develop, implement, manage, and monitor the Company's Safety programs at approximately 20 office locations.

  • Manage the office ergonomics program.
  • Reporting of key performance objective on a country and global basis
  • Development of job hazard and safe work method statements.
  • Develop and present monthly safety topics for Field Engineering leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations/directives.
  • Development of training programs to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees case management of Workers Compensation cases. Works closely with HR, managers, insurance providers and adjustors to ensure timely and safe return to work for injured associates.
  • Investigate injuries and identify corrective actions.
  • Serve as an advisor for the Emergency Response, and First Aid teams.
  • Travel once per quarter to Unisys sites in the US.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • BS Degree in Occupational Safety preferred.

  • 2-3 years Safety Experience in an office and field engineering setting.

  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of OSHA and other government regulations.

  • Superior customer service skills and orientation

  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations

  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints

  • Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision

  • Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills

  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative style.
