Summary

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer.

Description:
As part of our journey to build new microservices and improve our cloud deployment & architecture, we are seeking a Full Stack software engineer to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering team. You will be part of a scrum team, adhering to well-structured & defined agile principles. Our software uses a best-in-class tech stack, and we are pushing towards embracing more cloud-native services. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and building of the necessary testing that ensures a high quality of deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and modify software systems and custom components using a modern dev stack.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assignments & tasks.
  • Debug applications, trace code, and fix bugs as well as identify software flaws, spot wrong implementation, and propose effective solutions.
  • Actively participate in grooming meetings to define the feature specifications.
  • Implement unit test cases that exercise and test the produced code.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot interactive Web and Mobile applications when needed, using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Regularly update user stories including progress, status, and documentation (Release Notes & Modified Settings) for projects.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience implementing enterprise/SaaS applications with more focus on the back-end side.
  • Experience with the Java programming language.
  • Excellent understanding of the programming principles, design patterns, and OO best practices.
  • Knowledge of RBDMS is required.
  • Front-end programming skills include Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or other frameworks.
  • Experience working with Agile development practices is a plus.
  • Experience building microservices (Spring Boot, Swagger) is a plus.
  • Exposure to one of the Cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
