DIRECTOR, MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS (HYBRID - CHICAGO)

The Marketing Director will have primary responsibility for the communications, graphic services and marketing technology functions. This role works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (to whom it reports) to set strategy, build functional alignment and develop new approaches to brand building. How You'll Help Our Team Succeed

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and activities to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Manage the marketing and communications team to create compelling content for various channels including website, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
  • Contribute to the development (e.g. writing, copyediting and project management) of certain marketing pieces.
  • Oversee the marketing technology team to optimize technology tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms to track and measure marketing performance.
  • Lead the graphics team in creating visually appealing and impactful design assets for marketing campaigns, client presentations, and other materials.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing goals.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • 15+ years of experience in legal or economic consulting marketing roles with increasing capability and responsibility; other professional services experience also considered.
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.
  • The mindset to provide superior service.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing varied marketing platforms and digital media tools; working knowledge of InterAction CRM functionality.
  • Interest in, and experience with, building new teams. Must be comfortable with change and have demonstrable change management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong customer-focus.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required. Knowledge or ability to learn other programs required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or other related fields of study required. Advanced degree is a plus.
