Job Summary

Prepares, maintains, and reconciles accounts payable information in the Accounts Payable system. Works with vendors and internal customers to resolve problems and special requests.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares, enters, maintains, and reconciles data in the accounts payable system.

  • Works with vendors and all levels of internal staff to resolve invoice and coding problems, pay invoices within the organization's terms, and handle special requests as needed.

  • Maintains files in an organized manner to ensure invoice documentation is maintained (includes optical scanning).

  • Adapts to changing internal and external environment pertaining to accounts payable.

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.

  • Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.

  • Performs daily activities in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of relevant experience business office, accounts payable, accounting, finance, health plan administration, and/or customer service experience
