Atrium Health Women's Care boasts one of the nation's largest OB/GYN teams, with board-certified specialists covering all aspects of women's health. Atrium Health University Hospital has been recognized as a 2023 Newsweek Best Maternity Hospital and also named in the 2023-2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Maternity Hospitals. Working here presents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of Certified Nurse Midwives and experts in Women's Health.

Position Highlights:

  • Team consists of 4.6 CNM hospitalists; partnership with North Charlotte OB/GYN and Eastover University OB/GYN delivering at University City
  • 2100 annual live births at Atrium Health University City
  • Level III NICU
  • Approximately 7 shifts per month

Position Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse required
  • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required
  • Minimum 1 year as a CNM
