Bargaining Unit Consideration period starts on May 9, 2024 and ends on May 16, 2024.
This position is a 12-month 40 hr/wk appointment.
The work schedule is 8am-4:30pm with some room for flexibility. Travel to the Tribal State Relations Training is required (a minimum of three days per month). Attendance at both training days is required.
The pay rate range for this position starts at $21.69 / hour and depends on qualifications.
The mission of the Tribal Sovereignty Institute (TSI) is to promote tribal sovereignty through education, outreach, research, tribal consultation, and partnerships with Native Nations. TSI is connected to the Department of American Indian Studies.
The Administrative Specialist works closely with the TSI Associate Director and other TSI staff to manage the training registration process and all registration-related communications. They will also create classes and process training registrations in the Destiny One Registration System. The Administrative Specialist will assist with preparation for and delivery of training events.
