Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP is seeking 2Ls for 2025 summer associate opportunities within the Kansas City, Springfield, and Wichita offices ("Kansas City Regional"). The Kansas City Regional offices include the Corporate, Litigation, and Public Finance Departments, which span several practice groups. These include, but are not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial services, real estate, employment law, construction, insurance, medical malpractice, intellectual property, and real estate.

Summer associates will be expected to work with partners, associates, and staff across the Kansas City Regional offices and may be called upon to assist other offices across the firm as needed.
This position can be located in the following cities in which Kutak Rock has an office: Kansas City, MO; Springfield, MO; Wichita, KS

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Exceptional research and writing skills
  • Strong critical-thinking and issue-spotting skills
  • Time and case management skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate thoroughly and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues, including staff
Candidates should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above and apply with a transcript, resume, and cover letter describing their interests. The position is expected to run from June to August 2025.
