Responsibilities and Authority:
The Buyer will be involved in the placing of service and indirect material purchase orders, and following up with suppliers on delivery dates.

• Requesting product and service information, pricing, availability, lead time.
• Obtain the best possible price and lead-time for materials without sacrificing quality.
• Perform necessary purchasing activities (ie PO's) in accordance with TSI quality and AS9100 (aerospace) requirements.
• Expedite outside requirements accordingly to support manufacturing and other areas of the organization.
• Coordinate with the Accounting dept. and vendors to clear 3-way match issues.
• Source new suppliers and set up new suppliers in ERP system.
• Engage in strategic buying for maintenance, and other areas focusing on proactive procurement rather than reactive order placements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

Compensation:

$30 - $35
