JOB SUMMARY: The Data Warehouse Software Developer is responsible for the creating of applications that take into consideration all aspects of application development architecture design including – performance, scalability, coding, security, and error logging/testing. The important skills for this position are C#, SQL, and other various business intelligence tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of an in-house SQL based database warehouse responsible for storing information pulled from an ERP and various other sources.
- Work with Business Intelligence team to help design data structures for visualizations.
- Support warehouse and BI Tools environment.
- Perform QA and work closely with QA team.
- Research new technologies and share how they could be integrated into our environment.
- Troubleshooting and debugging both internal and external code
- Use of Agile development methodology
- Involved with researching new technology, architecture decisions, and setting coding standards.
Requirements/Education:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or other IT-related field preferred
- 2-year degree in programming or other IT-related field with additional experience may be considered
- 0 – 2 years experience developing software applications
- Experience in the following technologies is considered a plus:
- Visual Studio
- Domo
- C#
- SSRS
- TABLEAU
- MVC, ASP.NET
- MS SQL
- PWER BI
- Visual Studio
- ENTITY FRAMEWORK
- JIRA
- JD EDWARDS
- Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal and written communication skills
- Good judgment, logical thinking, and detail-oriented
- Ability to adapt and understand business
- Ability to drive projects to completion
- Understands Agile methodology and process.
