As an HRIS Specialist, you will oversee and maintain our HRIS database and all platforms within Talent Strategy. You are a storyteller who analyzes data and provides valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work on the deployment of new functionalities by partnering with Talent Strategy (HR) functional areas on system-related processes and major system implementations. This position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and proper use of information retrieved from the systems, while also delivering excellent customer service to end users.

The fundamentals for the job...

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of HRIS system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee all platforms and databases within the Talent Strategy team, ensuring their effective utilization and integration with other HR systems.
  • Collaborate with Talent Strategy Leaders and other departments to identify, configure and customize HR software's to meet the organization's needs.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and proper use of HR information retrieved from systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze HR software tool performance metrics and resolve application issues and document processes. Optimize HR software processes to support efficiency and employee experience.
  • Analyze and interpret HR metrics to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead integrations, and business process configuration from end to end ensuring successful integration and use adoption.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Visual Basic.
  • Document processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports.
  • Work towards integrating predictive analytics to forecast trends, aiming to proactively address workforce challenges.
  • Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Provide technical support and train system users on functionalities and new features.
  • Oversee various Talent Strategy related projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR technology and recommend enhancements to the HR systems accordingly.

What we expect of you

The bold requirements...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related area (In lieu of a degree, equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered.)
  • 3+ years of experience with Project Management, HR systems management, HCM configuration experience, or a related area.
  • 2+ years of experience analytics, reporting, and dashboard creation (i.e., Power BI, Visual Basic, SQL), managing software integrations, and business process configuration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and generate insights.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience leveraging business acumen and ability to effectively manage time and lead multiple projects at the same time.
  • We are proud to offer a flexible hybrid work model which will require certain on-site workdays (Puerto Rico Location Only).
  • Based in Puerto Rico.

  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, and project management.
  • Experience within the pharmacy benefit management, healthcare and/or insurance area.

Physical requirements...

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
