Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position is in support of a US Army data collection program. The program is responsible for collecting operation and maintenance data on selected equipment during field training exercises and operations in theater. These data are used in developing Class IX contingency stocks, identifying reliability and maintainability characteristics of equipment over the life cycle, analysis of component life and providing data for estimating Army studies for Manpower requirements and assessments of the fleet health.

Data Monitors shall have three years of experience in the military supply/maintenance or military data collection field and shall have a working knowledge and be familiar with:


* Army maintenance and supply policies

* The functioning of the Army logistic system at the organization and direct support levels (Field), and the recording of data under DA Pamphlet(s) 750-8, 738-751

* The provisions of AR 750-1, Army Materiel Maintenance Policy

* AR 710-2, Materiel Management for using units, support units, and installations

* AR 140-15, Maintenance and equipment

* AR 220-1, Unit Readiness Reporting

* FM 4-30.3, Maintenance Operations and Procedures




Qualifications
