| Job Description: World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks an Agriculture Program Officer to plan and implement a program to achieve objectives related to improving environmental impacts associated with corn and other row crop production systems. In this capacity, the Program Officer will work with farmers, partner companies and organizations as well as multi-stakeholder initiatives on projects to develop and achieve measurable improvements in North American row crop production through implementation of better management practices. The Program Officer will work under the supervision of the Director of Agriculture. A bachelor’s degree or related experience is required. A graduate degree in a related field is preferred, such as agribusiness or natural resource management. Knowledge of market-based approaches to solving environmental challenges is critical. 2-3 years experience working on agriculture issues is required. Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, life cycle analysis, corporate social responsibility and industry best practices is also preferred. AA/EOE Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
