Clinical Supervisor- LPN Preferred

Chesapeake Urology Associates, the premier Urology practice in Maryland, located in Owings Mills, MD, seeks a professional full-time Clinical Supervisor.  This position is Monday- Friday and the hours will range between 7AM- 7PM. 
 

Job Duties:

• Clinical support to Physicians in the office
• Performs patient tests with accuracy and documents results in EMR
• Checking patient information for accuracy and to update latest information and vitals
• Obtain specimens and vitals; draw blood
• Insertion and removal of catheters
• Conduct Bladder scans
• Charting information into computer
• Scans and indexes lab and radiology results as required
• Setup procedure trays when necessary
• Administer injectable drugs
• Follow proper infection control protocols
• Maintains accurate logs and records following OSHA standards
• Calibrates, cleans and performs controls on clinitek machines
• Schedules accurate Medical Assistant coverage for physician office hours
• Serves as liaison and communicator between Medical Assistant staff and Site Manager
• Provides guidance and training when needed
• Ensures that Medical Assistant team follow company policies and procedures

 
Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience
• Excellent people skills
• Extremely organized
• Three years of supervisory or lead experience necessary
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a team
• LPN preferred
• Flexibility to travel to other sites as needed
