The Administrative Specialist will provide executive-level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and Program Leaders as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining calendar and setting up travel arrangements, scheduling and organizing internal or external meetings, processing documents, assisting in the annual budgeting process, handling telephone inquiries. Perform minor accounting and business functions as required. Frequent contact with other chiefs, senior staff and program leaders in handling issues with which the CFO is dealing, and other staff at all levels. Must be able to interact with constituents and principals from other organizations in a highly professional manner. |

Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least five years of increasingly responsible experience in an executive support or staff assistant role. Exceptional language and communication skills, including articulate telephone persona, competent writing ability, exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy; a willingness to take initiative, ability to execute good judgment, tact, and discretion; ability to plan and complete projects independently or with minimal supervision. Experience in a Windows environment; proficiency with e-mail systems and calendar programs (Outlook preferred); expert word processing (Word), spreadsheet programming (Excel), and PowerPoint skills. Must have the ability to learn quickly and, through training, develop any technical knowledge or skills that are absent. Must be willing to work in team environment in close collaboration with other units. Must be able to prioritize workload and work in cooperative manner to achieve team goals.
